Tyson Thomas

Tyson is one of Cansford’s reporting scientists, bringing precision and expertise to the analysis and interpretation of drug and alcohol test results. A fellow University of South Wales alumnus, he shares Amy’s passion for getting the science right and ensuring clients receive reports they can genuinely rely on. Tyson was also among the representatives at the PEth Net consensus meeting on alcohol blood testing, contributing to the kind of industry-wide collaboration that shapes best practice across the field.

Beyond his desk work, Tyson has become something of a familiar face to legal teams across the country as a regular speaker at Cansford’s popular lunch and learn sessions. Whether he’s breaking down a complex toxicology topic or fielding questions over a sandwich, he has a natural ability to make science accessible and engaging for everyone in the room.

Away from work, Tyson is the person you want on your team at board game night. He’s also a devoted Fallout fan, equally happy navigating a post-apocalyptic wasteland as he is navigating a complex case report.
